Anyone out there just not prioritize their bedroom (raises hand)? Time spent drooling over pretty, put together bedrooms makes me refresh-hungry most days. I want to relax at the end of the day in a space that’s not piled high with last night’s late-night-snack dishes and sticky laundry (don’t ask me why it’s sticky…everything is sticky in this house). So much happens with the house, kids, pets, what-have-you, that I’m usually leaving the bedroom as an afterthought (and it quickly becomes a catch-all, at best). Thinking about a quick bedroom refresh? It doesn’t have to be hard – adding a new plant or piece of wall art can do the trick. Take a peek at these simple bedroom refresh mood boards and tell me which look (if any) inspires you!
Simple Bedroom Refresh: This
When I put together my “this” option, I was thinking about all the natural elements and the simple boho vibe that I love. Lots of natural fibers and textures in the rug and the amazing chandelier. Have you ever tried mud cloth pillow covers (squee!)? They hold up so well (let’s be real, the kids jump, throw, and catapult their little bodies all over our pillows) and the texture is beyond yummy! Often, I browse faux fiddle leaf tree/plant options and this one immediately caught my eye – she’s voluptuous! The wall art is understated but still tugs at the boho-lover’s heart. Simple Bedroom Refresh: That
Let’s move onto “that,” shall we? Honestly, I see so many parallels between this and that, but “this” holds onto traditional elements that feel soft and subtle in this mash up. When I look at this collection, I immediately feel peace – there’s something about soft neutrals mixed with subtle warm tones that makes my soul sing. The charcoal rug and black chandelier ground the space and I love the simple lines of the light fixture. Olive trees are a favorite accent plant of mine (year round) and the soft greens of the olive leaves blend perfectly with the botanicals (I may have hearts in my eyes right now). The tufted headboard brings a sense of simple luxury that I love. See anything that pops out to you? I’ve linked up this look below!

Simple Bedroom Refresh: This or That?
So, I’m just chomping at the bit to know – do you choose this, or that? Are you feeling the natural boho vibes or are you jiving with the soft traditional, neutral look? When it comes to a bedroom refresh, you don’t need to completely overhaul everything. Adding a fresh touch here and there can help give your space new life and your mindset the refresh it needs, too. Thanks for being here, my friend. Until next time, peace, love, & light (after coffee)!
